Privacy Policy — Quick Print for Canva

1. Who we are

Quick Print for Canva ("the Extension", "we", "us") is a free, open-source browser extension. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Canva Pty Ltd.

2. Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Personal identifiers (name, email address, IP address, device ID)
Your Canva account information or design content
Browsing history or URLs beyond what is described in Section 3
Crash reports, analytics, or usage telemetry
Cookies or local storage entries persisted between sessions

3. What the Extension accesses and why

To operate, the Extension requires the following browser permissions:

activeTab — to read the URL of the currently active tab solely to determine whether you are on the Canva editor (canva.com). This check happens locally in the extension popup and is never transmitted anywhere.
tabs — to send a message to the content script running in the active tab in order to trigger the print action. No tab content is read.
Host permission: https://www.canva.com/* — to inject the content script into Canva editor pages. The content script manipulates the page's DOM temporarily during printing and reverts all changes afterwards. It does not read, copy, or transmit any design data.

4. No external network communication

The Extension makes no network requests. There is no backend server, telemetry endpoint, or update feed operated by this Extension. All functionality runs entirely within your browser.

5. Data storage

The Extension does not use chrome.storage, localStorage, IndexedDB, or any other persistent storage mechanism. No data of any kind is written to disk by the Extension.

6. Third-party services

The Extension does not integrate with or load resources from any third-party service (analytics, advertising, fonts, CDNs, etc.).

7. Children's privacy

The Extension does not target or knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Since no data is collected from anyone, this distinction is largely academic.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Because no personal data is collected, changes are unlikely to affect users materially. Continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
